He emphasized that the last missile launch of the DPRK is a “violation of numerous resolutions of the UN Security Council” and poses a threat to the DPRK neighbors, as well as the world and stability of the entire region.

According to Price, the United States is “firmly committed” by the protection of their allies – South Korea and Japan. “We supported and continue to maintain close contact and cooperation with the Republic of Korea and Japan and together we will respond to provocations emanating from the DPRK,” the representative of the State Department said.

According to the authorities of South Korea, the DPRK launched a ballistic missile on Wednesday at about 12:03 local time (06:03 Moscow time) from the surroundings of Pyongyang towards the Sea of ​​the Sea. The rocket flew about 470 km, the maximum height was 780 km. Since the beginning of the year, the DPRK conducted more than 10 missile tests.
