On Monday, January 30, the new US Ambassador to Russia Lynn Tracy was attacked by the crowd chanting anti -American slogans at the entrance to the Russian Foreign Ministry, where Tracy came to present trendy letters. It is reported by the Voice of America.
The publication indicates that, despite some diplomatic agreements, including the exchange of concluded, contacts at a high level between the countries after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine almost went to naught.
The US Embassy in the Russian Federation emphasized: “The Treishi ambassador is focused on maintaining a dialogue between our capitals during unprecedented tension, protecting the interests of American citizens detained in Russia, and supporting relations between American and Russian peoples.”
