US Congress wants to exclude Russia from UN Security Council

US Congressmen has developed a resolution with a proposal to exclude Russia from among the permanent members of the UN Security Council (Sat), reports AXIOS.

According to information, Congressmen require “to adopt the immediate actions necessary for amending Art. 23 of the UN Charter and exclude the Russian Federation from the Permanent Members of the UN Security Council.”

The members of the US Congress believe that Russia’s special operation in the Donbass “contradicts its duties and obligations as a permanent member of the UN Security Council.”
