US Defense Secretary’s Plane Makes Emergency Landing In UK

US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth’s plane made an emergency landing in the UK due to a crack in the windshield.

Pentagon press secretary Sean Parnell, in a statement on the social network of the American company X, said that Hegseth’s plane, returning from a NATO meeting, made an emergency landing at a UK airport due to cracks in the windshield.

“While returning to the US from a meeting of NATO defense ministers, Hegseth’s plane made an unscheduled landing in the UK due to a crack in the windshield,” the report said.

The plane landed “in accordance with standard procedures,” Parnell noted that all passengers on the plane, including the minister Hegseth are safe.

On Tuesday, October 15, Minister Hegseth took part in a meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group at NATO headquarters in Brussels and assessed the progress of the war between Russia and Ukraine.
