The US Embassy in Moscow called for citizens of the United States to immediately leave Russia.
“US citizens must refuse to travel to Russia, and those who live or travel now in Russia must immediately leave the country while there are limited opportunities for a private basis,” the notification says.
Diplomats associate this with the announcement of mobilization in Russia and indicate that a call for military service of dual citizenship is not excluded.
