The US Embassy in Armenia encouraged their country’s citizens to vigilance due to expected post-collecting promotions. This is stated in the statement of American diplomatic confinement, they write Armenian media.
According to the application, over the next two weeks in Yerevan and Armenian regions, demonstrations or rallies related to elections and their results are possible. “Citizens of the United States must be vigilant, avoid the massacre of people,” the American Embassy says.
Extraordinary parliamentary elections in Armenia are scheduled for June 20.
