US Foreign Minister at UN Security Council urged “force” to return to “grain transaction”

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmitry Kuleb at a meeting of the UN Security Council called for “force” the Russian Federation to return to the “grain transaction” and stop “hunger games”, Interfax-Ukraine reports.

“Russia killed” a grain agreement. “An immediate result will be an increase in food prices in the world. This will damage the most vulnerable countries, mainly in Africa and Asia. Russia must stop playing hunger games,” he said.

Kuleba called on all the UN member states “firmly demand from Russia to resume participation in the agreement and termination of hungry games.” The minister emphasized that the Russian Federation should “keep a policy away from global food security.”

The Foreign Minister also separately attracted the attention of the UN Security Council to the threat of “occupation by Russia of the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant.”

“I officially repeat: Ukraine has never had and cannot have any intentions to call incidents at nuclear power plants in its own country. The only force that is capable of and has motives to lead to any incident on ZAES – this is Russia. Acting together and exposing the Russian Lies now, we are able to interfere with the implementation of their malicious plans, ”said the Foreign Minister.
