Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan accepted the deputy Secretary of State for political issues Victoria Nuland.

The deputy head of the Foreign Ministry Akhmet Yildiz in a post on social network X said that he had a meeting with Nuland, at which they exchanged opinions on the development of events in the Middle East and Africa.
According to information from diplomatic sources, Nuland arrived in Turkey at the invitation of Deputy Foreign Minister Burak Akchapara as part of the Turkish-American strategic mechanism.
During comprehensive consultations that will take place during a meeting of the strategic mechanism, an exchange of views on regional and international issues, as well as Turkish-American relations, is provided.
