US Lifted Sanctions On Syrian President And Interior Minister

The US Treasury Department has removed Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa and Interior Minister Anas Khattab from its sanctions list.

As Syrian state television Al-Ikhbariya reported, the United States has officially lifted the previously imposed restrictions on the Syrian leader and Interior Minister.

Earlier, on November 6, the UN Security Council adopted a resolution calling for the lifting of sanctions against President Ahmed al-Sharaa and Interior Minister Anas Khattab.
