The US military base in the Ash Shaddadi area in the south of the Syrian province of Hasek was undergoing mortar shelling on Monday, Al Mayadeen TV channel reports.
It is noted that the fire was carried out by the Syrian-Iraqi border, most missiles exploded in the vicinity of a military facility, information about possible losses and material damage is not given.
As TASS reports, unmanned aerial vehicles were raised into the sky above the Esh-Shaddadi and the border area, which intensively patrol the area. The representative of the American military command in Baghdad has not yet confirmed the fact of an attack on the base.
