“The culprit of the armed conflict in the Donbas is Russia.” This was stated by the US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin, reports Interfax.
“Let’s clearly say that Russia began this war, and Russia is the stone that prevents peaceful settlement. They began violating the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine,” Austin said on Tuesday at a joint briefing with the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Andrei Taran in Kiev.
He assured that the United States will continue to provide Ukraine to a conflict with Russia.
“We will do our best on our part to support Ukraine, develop its ability to protect their territorial integrity and inviolability,” said Austin.
