US Special Supervisor Allowed Cessation Of NATO Expansion To East

The United States recognizes the justice of Russia’s fears about NATO non -expanding east and are ready to discuss this issue in the framework of the peaceful settlement of the Ukrainian crisis. The specialized US Presidential Special Supervisor on Ukraine Kit Kellogo said in an interview with ABC News.

“This is a fair fear. We have repeatedly stated that the issue of Ukraine’s accession to NATO is not discussed,” he said.

According to the special settlement, a similar position regarding the accession of Kyiv to the North Atlantic Alliance is shared by a number of other NATO member countries.

KELLOLOL recalled that it was previously reported that Vladimir Putin wants to receive “written assurances” from the leading Western countries to complete the conflict of the Russian Federation and Ukraine that NATO will not expand east.

The special representative confirmed that Washington is ready to refuse to involve Moldova and Georgia.

He noted that US President Donald Trump is ready to promise to Russian colleague Putin not to expand NATO east if such a demand becomes a condition for the end of the war.

He added that in the framework of the upcoming second round of Russian-Ukrainian negotiations in Istanbul, the issue of NATO, the fate of Crimea, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhya, Kherson and Lugansk regions will be discussed. He said that the delegation of Ukraine will be headed by the Minister of Defense Rustem Umarov.

The special settlement also allowed Trump’s exit from negotiations in Ukraine and will transfer the initiative to Europe. According to him, this will happen if the head of the White House feels that they “use it” and no progress in negotiations is expected.
