US State Department Warned Its Staff In Middle East About Need To “show Caution”

The US State Department, after attacks on Iran, warned his staff in the Middle East about the need to “show caution” and asked employees of diplomatic missions to leave these countries.

In a statement published on the social network X, the Ministry warned its employees working in the countries of the region about the possible response measures of Tehran after an attack on Iran and introduced some restrictions.

The US State Department warned its citizens in some countries, including the United Arab Emirates, Jordan and Turkey, from protests and similar outbursts that can occur after events in the region.

The Department also issued the “red -level” warnings for employees of its representative offices and citizens in countries such as Lebanon, Iraq and Saudi Arabia, and asked his employees working in these countries to show maximum caution.

Paying attention to the threats of security, especially in Lebanon and Iraq, the Department, due to the “unstable security situation in the region,” ordered the personnel and members of their families from these countries.

In the statement of Iraq, the US State Department noted: “On June 12, as an extreme precaution, the US mission in Iraq began an orderly evacuation of part of the personnel. As part of the ongoing efforts to promote operations, additional personnel left Iraq on June 21 and 22.”

The Ministry also provided US citizens in the Middle East links to routes for speedy return to the United States.

Tension in the region increased after the US attacks to three nuclear facilities of Iran on June 22. It remains unclear whether the Tehran administration will take response against American bases or other objects in the region.
