US called on China to influence Russia to resolve the situation in Ukraine. This was told by the US Deputy Secretary of State for Political Affairs Victoria Nuland, RBC-Ukraine reports with reference to the statement of Nuland during the US State Department Briefing.
According to Nuland, such a statement was spent during the meeting of US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken with China’s Foreign Minister Van I. Blinken asked China to use its influence on Russia and call for a diplomatic conflict resolution with Ukraine.
“Our Message Beijing was clear: we urge Beijing to use their influence on Moscow to call for diplomacy,” said Nuland.
