USA is investigating data leakage from Pentagon email

The US Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) special operation is investigating the Pentagon data leakage of data leakage.

This was reported by the CNN television company.

“Command has begun investigation of information provided to us about the possible problem with the cloud service of the command,” CNN quoted by the representative of USSOCOM Ken McGrow.

“The only other information that we can confirm at the moment is that not a single USSOCOM information system has been hacked,” he added.

As the television company notes, the leak was discovered on February 8 by independent researchers in the field of cybersecurity. Among the hacked data was standard information about the US military contracts and the request of employees of the American defense department to verify their documents. Everyone who knew the server IP address had access to data for 3 terabytes without a password until the server protection was restored.
