According to the government portal of Uzbekistan, the state flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan was approved by the law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On the State Flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan” dated November 18, 1991 No. 407-XI.
Since March 2, 1992 year, the flag began to fly in front of the headquarters of the United Nations as a symbol of recognition of Uzbekistan as a full-fledged sovereign republic.

As the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Uzbekistan reported, in honor of the Day of Adoption of the Flag of Uzbekistan, demonstration performances and a walking march by employees of the Ministry of Defense and the National Guard will be held in Tashkent on Tuesday. They will begin in Victory Park and end at Peoples’ Friendship Square. Traffic along the military route will be temporarily limited (map).
According to Uzbek state media, in honor of the 34th anniversary of the adoption of the national flag of Uzbekistan, the capital will host a series of festive cultural and educational events on November 18. The program starts with a flag relay and ends with a spectacular drone show.
