200 containers with humanitarian aid from China to be delivered to Turkey via Kazakhstan

Two Two Containers with a humanitarian load will be delivered by a shuttle-roads from China to Turkey through Kazakhstan along the Transkaspian International Transport Route (TMTM), the press service of the Kazakhstan National Company “Kazakhstan Temir Zhola”.

Accelerated delivery through Kazakhstan was organized on behalf of the head of state Kasym-Zhomart Tokayev. The train will proceed through the territory of Kazakhstan in a record time – 90 hours.

“The first train contains fifty 40-foot containers with tents for temporary placement of people injured from the earthquake. It is planned to send another 150 containers. The shuttle operator is KTZ Express,-the statement said.

The company noted that with the advent of a shuttle service, the delivery time of goods from China to the ports of Georgia decreased by three times – to 18 days, to the ports of Turkey – up to 25 days. The load will proceed to the Caspian Sea (port of Aktau) through the territory of Kazakhstan, then to Azerbaijan, Georgia to the city of Mersin (Turkey).

Transportation is carried out by the parties to the TMTM route at a free basis, as part of the provision of humanitarian aid of Turkey.
