Venezuela President Nicholas Maduro congratulated Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on entry into the post of head of state.
“In this new period, which will certainly become a period of development and well -being for Turkey, I convey the best wishes to President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, I wish success. The government of our countries will continue to cooperate and develop ties,” Maduro wrote on Twitter.
Maduro also shared a photograph of the Turkish leader from the inauguration ceremony, which took place on Saturday June 3.
