The number of transactions for the sale of residential real estate in Turkey in June was 83,636. Such data are given on Friday by the Institute of Statistics of Turkey (Tüi̇k).
In January-June of this year, the volume of transactions in the housing market of Turkey amounted to 565,779 units in general.
In June, Istanbul – 13,579 in June. The share of the metropolis accounted for 16.2 percent of the total sales of housing in Turkey last month.
The following is followed by Ankara – 7,325 units of housing (8.8 percent of all sales in Turkey) and Antalya – 4,503 units of housing (5.4 percent of sales in Turkey). Last all, housing last month was sold in the province of Ardakhan (17 units of housing), the provinces of Khakkari (29) and the provinces of Tundu (44).
In June of the current year, sales of mortgage housing decreased by 66.8 percent compared to the same period of the previous year – up to 13,463 units. The share of mortgage sales in the total sales of housing amounted to 16.1 percent.
