“The airfield of Buyalyk, located in Petrovka, the second rockets were released for the second time. Military is confident that this is an attempt to break through the land corridor between the temporary occupied autonomous Republic of Crimea and the border area of Moldova.” This is reported by the press service of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The agency noted that the purpose of Russian military is the destruction of a critical civilian infrastructure, as well as maximum losses among military facilities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“For its achievement, the enemy constantly inflicts rocket-aviation strikes. At the same time, the Russians are trying to block Kiev, as well as create a land corridor on the Black Sea coast,” says the General Staff Messages.
It is also noted that battles on the approaches to Kherson continue.
“The enemy is trying to bypass the city from the East and continue the offensive in the direction of Nikolaev. Two rocket strikes are inflicted by Buyalyuk,” the department reported.
