Vuchich: Scholz requires Serbia to introduce anti -Russian sanctions

”German Chancellor Olaf Sholts demanded that Serbia impose sanctions against Russia similar to the fact that he introduced the European Union.” This was stated by President of Serbia Alexander Vucich, reports RBC.

According to him, Scholz very decisively, clearly and sharply asked Serbia to join the sanctions against Russia, that is, to support the restrictive measures that the EU had already taken against Russia.

Serbia is one of those countries that have not imposed sanctions against Russia, although it has joined the UN General Assembly resolution condemning Russia in Ukraine.

According to Vuchich, Serbia will resist the introduction of sanctions against Russia to the last. He noted that the decision was not dictated by the benefit, but because of the “honest attitude towards itself” and respect for international law. Vuchich also added that Serbia is proud that he does not allow anti -Western or Russophobic behavior.
