Vucich asked Erdogan to help with electricity supplies from Azerbaijan

President of Serbia Alexander Vuchich turned to the Turkish side for help in the issue of importing electricity from Azerbaijan, which he estimated at about two gigavat hours.

“I asked him (Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan) to help us … in the transfer of electricity from Azerbaijan,” said the President of Serbia on Wednesday at a joint press conference with Erdogan in Belgrade, whose words quoted Reuters.

Earlier, following the results of the Presidents of Azerbaijan and Serbia Ilham Aliyev and Aleksandar Vucich, the head of the Serbian state, who could buy electricity from Azerbaijan, recalls Interfax-Azerbaijan in the office of the presidents of Azerbaijan and Serbia. The office noted that Vucich turned to Ilham Aliyev for help in providing enough electricity, and the head of the Azerbaijani state responded to this request by telling about the approval of the interstate agreement on the purchase of electricity from Azerbaijan on favorable terms.
