Warsaw: ban on wearing weapons was introduced because of Biden

The Ministry of the Interior and the Polish Administration decided to make a ban on wearing weapons due to a visit to the US President Joe Biden.

This was announced at a briefing by the police representative of Warsaw Sylvester Marchak.

“from February 20 to 22, weapons are prohibited, including those who have it legally,” he said.

Marchak emphasized that “this is connected with ensuring security.”

In addition, according to him, in connection with Biden’s visit, the Chief Commander of the Polish Police decided to send additional law enforcement forces to Warsaw. As the press secretary warned, residents of the Polish capital should prepare for difficulties that may arise due to the movements of the American leader in the city.

According to the Polish side, Biden will fly to the Warsaw airport on February 21 at 08:30 local time (11:30 in Baku). He will go from the airport to the Marriott Hotel, where American leaders usually live during visits to Warsaw. For all movements of the presidential car column, it is planned to block the streets.
