Ways of expanding bilateral relations of Azerbaijan and Turkey were discussed in Baku

Prime Minister. Azerbaijan Ali Asadov and the chairman of the Great National Assembly of Turkey (Parliament0 Numan Kurtulmush discussed the expansion of Azerbaijani-Turkish relations in trade, economic, energy, transport, agricultural, humanitarian, tourist and other areas.

According to the press service of the Azerbaijani government, Prime Minister Ali Asadov met with a visit to Baku by a delegation, led by the chairman of the Turkish parliament.

The parties expressed satisfaction with the successful development of friendly and fraternal relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey in all areas in accordance with the principle of “one nation, two states.”

It was noted that thanks to the efforts of the heads of states, relations between the two countries reached the highest level of strategic partnership and allies.

The parties emphasized the significance of the first official visit of the head of state Ilham Aliyev to the Republic of Turkey after the President of Azerbaijan.

At the same time, it was brought to the attention that Azerbaijani-Turkish relations are successfully developing within the framework of international institutions, the importance of joint steps taken to turn the organization of Turkic states into regional and international force was noted.

The parties emphasized the role of parliaments in the development of interstate relations, praised mutually beneficial cooperation between Milli Majlis and the Great National Assembly of Turkey.

Touching the significance of the transition of the chairmanship in this structure from Turkey to Azerbaijan at the 14th plenary session of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly, Assadov said that during the Turkish presidential, the international authority of the Assembly increased, inter-parliamentary cooperation expanded in the name of the global world and development.
