In the Baku Court of Grave Crimes, an investigation into criminal cases of Anara Poldov, Sabuchi Rzaeva and Afiga Ibaev, arrested when receiving bribes.
The verdict was read on the process. According to the verdict, Anar Paliadov and Sabuchi Rzayev were sentenced to 8 years 6 months, and Afig Babayev – by 8 years in prison. In relation to Babayev, a preventive measure was changed and he was arrested in the courtroom.
This is stated in joint information of the Prosecutor General’s Office and the Ministry of Economy.
As a result of the operational event, held on September 2 last year, these citizens were detained when receiving a bribe from a citizen in the amount of 900 manat.
The fact of receiving a bribe officials were recorded by video surveillance cameras.
A.Poladov and S.Rzaev were brought as accused under Article 311.3.1 of the Criminal Code (receiving a bribe of a group of persons by preliminary conspiracy). In their regard, the court decision was elected a measure of restriction in the form of detention.
