Misty weather observed in Azerbaijan is an expected atmospheric phenomenon. This is due to the synoptic conditions, the National Hydrometeorology National Service reports.
The cause of the formation of inversion fogs is the cooling of the surface in the surface layer atmosphere at night and lower air temperature. The layer of fog formed over the Caspian Sea due to the high temperature in the relatively upper layer of the atmosphere, penetrated the Absheron Peninsula. Lovely air masses, weak wind have become favorable factors for the formation of fog. Such weather will be preserved at night and in the morning of January 2.
