When organizing the State Employment Agency under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, the II Azerbaijani Career Development Forum takes place.
The event was attended by the Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the population Sakhil Babaev, Minister of Science and Education Emin Amrullaev, Minister of Youth and Sports Farid Gaibov, chairman of the board of directors of the state examination center, Maleik Abbaszade, deputies, representatives of state and private institutions – consultants on quarry issues, Local and foreign speakers, personnel specialists, top managers, experts in the field of education.
The purpose of the motto “Get ready for the future!” Forum – conducting professional discussions in the direction of solving pressing problems in the labor market, increasing awareness of new trends and challenges.
Sakhil Babaev drew attention to the steps taken in the country to expand social reforms, the development of the labor market and active employment programs. He noted that more than 100 thousand young people enter the labor market annually in Azerbaijan. Obtaining professions and qualifications in accordance with the requirements of a constantly changing labor market, an increase in the number of qualified labor are important goals in the field of employment.
It was emphasized that the career guidance service is an important tool in increasing the awareness of young people about the labor market and career planning. It is noted that the “Labor and Employment” subsystem ensures the transition to a new important stage in reforms in the field of labor and employment.
The next step will be the Azerbaijani employment map, the register of employees throughout the country, the introduction of such systems as the information resource for monitoring informal employment, the mobile inspection and monitoring system, the electronic labor exchange and the fair, the portal of public work (works.gov.az) and Innovative Bacar platform. These platforms are preparing for commissioning in the near future.
The importance of a number of new projects in the field of career guidance – the Hello Career, Create a Summary, Bacar platforms. It is noted that work continues in the direction of improving the role of career guidance and career planning. It is noted that the forum is an opportunity to create a common discussion platform for representatives of the state and private sector on this issue.
