The meeting also discussed the “gradual increase in provocative actions on the part of Greece in the Aegean Sea, violations by Athens of international law and the agreements signed by them, as well as attempts to exploit the Greek side for unseemly purposes in alliances intended for cooperation.” The firm determination of Turkey is emphasized to defend its interests in this region.
In addition, concern has been expressed about recently in a number of countries of Islamophobia: “The mentioned countries have reminded of their responsibility when it comes to preventing provocative actions, including the burning of copies of our sacred book of the Koran and an attack on our compatriots.”
During the meeting, the importance of maintaining stability and territorial integrity in Libya was noted, as well as preventing steps that can lead to new conflicts in this country. The need was noted to hold honest and fair elections throughout Libya in accordance with the expectations of the Libyan people.
