Additional budget allocations that had the US administration to the aid of Ukraine are exhausted.
This was reported at a regular briefing by the press secretary of the White House Karin Jean-Pierre.
According to her, after the remaining funds announced on Friday, the remaining funds are exhausted ”as part of the initiative to assist Ukraine (UKRANEE SECUSISTANTANCE Initiative, USAI).
It involves the conclusion of the US Ministry of Defense contracts with manufacturers for budget allocations, and not the provision of one or another equipment and funds directly from their reserves.
In this regard, Jean-Pierre called on Congress in the near future to approve the provision of additional assistance to Kyiv.
