“President Biden for a long time and clearly supports the sale of the F -16 of Turkey, which will help to facilitate the interaction within NATO,” she said at a daily briefing.
Deliveries of F-16 fighters Ankara are not related to the application of Sweden to join NATO, Jean-Pierre emphasized.
According to her, during a recent telephone conversation with the Turkish colleague, Recep Tayyip Erdogan Biden, expressed a “strong desire” so that Turkey approves Sweden’s entry into NATO.
