US President Donald Trump on May 14 will hold a brief meeting in Saudi Arabia with Syria President Ahmed al-Shara, the White House said.
It is expected that US President Trump, who continues his visit to Saudi Arabia, will meet with Syria President al-Shara.
The Unsemned high -ranking White House official said: “The President agreed to meet with the President of Syria tomorrow in Saudi Arabia,” but did not report any other details about the nature of the meeting.
In his last statement on this subject, Trump said: “We are also conducting a certain work with the president (Record Tayyip) Erdogan in Syria, and in the meantime we will need to make a decision on sanctions. We can make sanctions from Syria because we want to give them the opportunity to start everything from the clean sheet.”
