WHO allowed MODERNA vaccine for emergency use

The World Health Organization allowed the use of the moderna vaccine from coronavirus during emergency situations. This is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to WHO statement.

“Today, WHO included the MODERNA vaccine from COVID-19 (MRNA 1273) to the list of drugs for use in emergency situations,” the document says.

Thus, the drug became the fifth approved in WHO. Experts recommend applying it for patients over 18 years old. According to the organization’s estimates, the efficiency of Moderna is 94.1%.

Earlier in Lithuania, the pensioner died immediately after the administration of the American company Moderna. The incident occurred in Klaipeda.
