Who is General Sycheva, commander of Russian group in Ukraine

Andrei Ivanovich Sycheva, whom Shoigu on Wednesday first called the commander of the West group, according to open data, until November last year commanded the 8th Guards Combined Arms of the Southern Military District.

The title is Lieutenant General, he was born in the Krasnodar Territory, after the school, he served in tank and motorized rifle units, after the combined arms academy he served as deputy commander of the regiment to the division commander (including the famous Tamanskaya). After studying at the Academy of the General Staff, he was the chief of staff of the 5th combined arms army of the Eastern Military District, from where he moved to the 8th Guards Army of the Southern District, writes the Air Force.
