WHO: Lack Of Fuel Puts Healthcare Of Gases On Face Of Collapse

The General Director of the World Health Organization (WHO) Tedros Adkhan Goebreesus said that the acute fuel lack in the gas sector puts the healthcare system on the line of collapse. He reported this on the social network X.

According to him, the fuel has not entered gas for more than 100 days, and all attempts to return the remaining reserves in the evacuation zone were rejected.

“The healthcare system is on the verge of collapse. In 17 hospitals, 7 field hospitals and 43 medical centers, only the minimum amount of fuel remains. Soon, the reserves will completely run out,” the head of the WHO warned.

Goebreesus emphasized that the lack of fuel seriously complicates the work of medical institutions and urged to ensure emergency delivery of fuel and medical supplies in gas in all possible ways.

“It is necessary to immediately achieve a ceasefire,” he said.
