WHO warns about death wave of COVID-19

Over the past weekend in the world, the minimum number of coronavirus cases was recorded, stated in the World Health Organization, writes The Guardian.

The organization warned about the danger of a new deadly wave due to the Delta strain, which was already identified in 92 countries. Specialists predict that Delta can become a dominant strain in Europe for two to four weeks.

Outside Europe “Delta” is already raging in Indonesia, there the other day the incidence record was recorded – more than 21 thousand new cases. Such bursts occur throughout the region, in particular, in Thailand and Malaysia. And also in Russia, where Moscow has been fixing mortality records for several days in a row.

Also, because of the “delta” of the Government of Australia and New Zealand, quarantine restrictions increased. And in Israel again introduced the requirement of the obligatory wearing of protective masks in the premises due to the increase in the incidence rate in the country. In addition, last week the number of new cases of coronavirus increased by 25% throughout Africa.
