Whose drones are going to shoot down Russian peacekeepers in Lachin Corridor?

The Russian Ministry of Defense extended information on the regular combat teachings of the peacekeeping contingent posted on the Azerbaijani territories. The report says that the peacekeepers conducted the exercises “to curb the possible violations by the conditional enemy using unmanned aviation and ensuring security on observation posts along the Lachin Corridor.”

It is noted that the teachings were conducted in 6 training points. “In the course of the teachings, the servicemen fulfilled new tactical techniques and new actions when leaving the location sites. In addition, exercises were made to block the conditional intruder and exit to the installed turns with hidden maneuvering using the territorial relief,” the information says.

It is also reported that the peculiarity of these teachings was to perform tasks for the detection of an unmanned aerial vehicle in the responsibility zone of the observation post. Data on discovery of UAVs on closed radio channels was transferred to the management center of the Russian peacekeeping contingent.

A representative of the Russian peacekeeping contingent Vladislav Vorobiev said that the personnel with the support of armored vehicles took the battle positions, moved to position. “The exercises ended with comprehensive workouts with the performance of practical actions,” he added.

From myself, we note that the Russian peacekeeping contingent periodically conducts such exercises. These exercises accounted for at the time when, after an attack on the Azerbaijani border guard, sites of the road Goris – Cafe were closed, passing through the territory of Azerbaijan (now these sites are open). In those days, Armenian media wrote that Russian peacekeepers throughout the Lachin Corridor carry out reinforced duty and posted patrols almost every kilometer. Also in the Armenian segment of social networks, there are rumors about the closure of the Lachin Corridor by Azerbaijan, which drives the Armenians to panic.
