Winner of presidential cycling in Turkey will share reward with team

The winner of the 59th presidential tour in Turkey (TUR 2024), Dutch cyclist Frank Van Brooke will divide the prize with seven teammates.

According to the organizers of the event, they supported professionals such as Fabio Jacobsen, to young athletes in the Dutch professional cycling Team DSM-Firmenich Postnl. The cohesion of the team and five victories at the stages of the cyclingured left their mark on the TUR-2024.

The representative of the Netherlands transferred his request to the Organizing Committee that a special prize of 1 million 550 thousand miles earned by the team during the TUR 2024, including leadership in the general classification, was divided equally between the athletes of the team.

A special award of 150 thousand miles awarded by the flagship of Turkish civil aviation Turkish Airlines (Thy) Stages and 800 thousand miles to the leader of the general classification, motivates the athletes to finish the first at each stage.

59th International Presidential Cycle of Turkey ended on Sunday, April 28 in Istanbul.

Dutch athlete Frank Van Brooke from the DSM-Firmenich Postnl team took first place in the general individual standings and received a turquoise T-shirt.

His teammate Tobias Andresen received a “green T -shirt” handed over to the winner of the sprint class.

German cyclist Vincent Dorn from the Bike Aid team won the Red T -shirt for first place in the clushing classification.

“White T -shirt” in the classification of “Beauty of Turkey” also went to Dorn.

The Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team team took first place in the general team.
