“The work of the consular department of the Russian embassy in Montenegro was stopped indefinitely in connection with the hostile actions of the authorities of this country.” This is stated in the statement of the Russian diplomatic mission widespread on Thursday.

The media reported that several Montenegro citizens were detained in Podgorica on suspicion of work on the Russian intelligence services. It is alleged that one of the detainees is an employee of the state administration who has been working for the Russian special services for more than ten years.
