Worker died 10 days after tragedy in Baku

METAK employee, which is engaged in the production of pipes, died as a result of a fall from a height, reports Report.

According to the publication in the Narimanovsky district prosecutor’s office, 36-year-old Vugar Pashayev, who worked as a welder in this company in the village of Boykshor, received severe bodily injuries on July 18, and on July 28 he died of injuries.

During the investigation, it was found that Vugar Pashayev fell from a height when performing repair work on the roof of the workshop.

In fact, a criminal case was instituted in the Narimanovsky district prosecutor’s office under article 162.2 (violation of labor protection rules, which, through negligence, caused serious or less serious harm to human health) of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan. The investigation continues.
