World Bank allocated $ 1.75 billion to Ukraine

The World Bank announced new assistance to Ukraine in the amount of $ 1.75 billion.

500 million dollars will be issued as a loan under the guarantee of Great Britain, 1.25 billion – as a grant from the United States and 15 million from Finland.

Earlier, the head of the European Commission (EC) Ursula von der Lyain announced the imminent publication of the project for the use of frozen assets of Russia in the interests of the restoration of Ukraine, the plan will be presented before the EC departure for the summer vacation.

It was also reported that the UK decided to provide Ukraine with a loan for a restoration of three billion dollars through the World Bank. This was announced by the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Risha Sunak.

In addition, London will also allocate assistance to Ukraine in the amount of £ 2,40 million ($ 306 million) this year for programs, including clearance, sets for providing natural disasters, as well as for energy projects.
