World leaders congratulated Erdogan on success in presidential election

The heads of state and governments of a number of foreign states congratulated Recep Tyip Erdogan on success in the second round of the presidential election in Turkey.

Azerbaijan

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev congratulated the head of the Turkish state of Recep Tayyip Erdogan on success in the second round of the Elections of the President of Turkey.

Ilham Aliyev held a telephone conversation with the President of Turkey.

Azerbaijani leader appreciated Erdogan’s victory in the presidential election as an indicator of the trust of the Turkish people to his politics.

The President of Azerbaijan expressed confidence that the comprehensive development of Turkey will continue in the coming years under the leadership of Erdogan.

Aliyev wished Erdogan success in his further activities as head of state.

Erdogan, in turn, expressed gratitude to Aliyev for congratulations, and congratulated Azerbaijan on Independence Day.

Azerbaijani leader also invited Erdogan to make a visit to Azerbaijan.

Uzbekistan

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev on May 28 during a telephone conversation sincerely congratulated the president of Turkey Erdogan “on a convincing, historical victory in the presidential election.”

Mirziyoyev emphasized that the high turnout of voters and the results of the second round of voting indicate the convincing support of the Friendly Turkish people of the policy and the reform course of the current head of state.

The topical issues of further deepening the Uzbek-Turkish relations of a comprehensive strategic partnership and the expansion of multifaceted cooperation are considered.

Congratulations to Erdogan was made by Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban.

Pakistan

Pakistan Prime Minister Shakhbaz Sharif congratulated Recep Tayyip Erdogan on success in the second round of the Turkish presidential election.

“I cordially congratulate my dear brother of President Erdogan on the re -election to the post of president of the Turkish Republic. He is one of the few world leaders whose politics is inextricably linked with the interests of the state,” Sharif wrote on Twitter.

Pakistani Prime Minister called Erdogan “support for oppressed Muslims.”

“Relations with Turkey will continue to develop as an ascending. I look forward to working together with (Erdogan) in the name of further deepening the strategic partnership in accordance with the bonds of the fraternity of our peoples,” said Sharif.
