World leaders made messages on occasion of anniversary of events of July 15, 2016 in Turkey

The leaders of a number of states made messages in which they expressed solidarity with Turkey on the occasion of the anniversary of the events of July 15, 2016. Seven years ago, the country was prevented by an attempt by the coup, undertaken by the Fetö terrorist organization.

“Remembering the greatest victims of the courageous Turkish people, we pay tribute to the Martyrs, who valiantly resisted the treacherous attempt to deprive them of democracy and fundamental rights,” the Prime Minister of Pakistan Shahbaz Sharica says.

The politician called the date of July 15 a “historical and epoch -making day”, which personified the “unshakable faith and deep trust of” the Turkish people to President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev also sent a letter to the Turkish colleague Recep Tayyip Erdogan in connection with the 7th anniversary of the events of July 15, 2016.

“On the seventh anniversary of the events of July 15 in Turkey with deep respect and reverence, we pay tribute to the bright memory of our Shahids, who sacrificed their lives on the path to preventing the coup d’etat,” the ambassador says.

Sheikh Katar Tamim Ibn Hamad Al Tanya sent a telegram to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. In it, he congratulated the Turkish leader on the occasion of the Day of Democracy and National Unity, annually celebrated in Turkey on July 15.

As a result of the actions of the putschists, 253 people were killed, another 2,734 were injured.
