The administration of US President Donald Trump sent a high-level delegation from the Department of Defense to Kyiv as part of efforts to resume peace negotiations to resolve the Russian-Ukrainian conflict.

According to the publication, the decision to send a Pentagon delegation to the Ukrainian capital was made in the context of the new US administration’s initiatives to restart the diplomatic process, aimed at ending hostilities between Russia and Ukraine.
The newspaper’s sources emphasize that members of the delegation will hold a series of meetings with the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky, as well as with a wide range of Ukrainian officials and representatives of various departments.
