Primetina (AA) – Minister of National Defense Yashar Guler met with the President of Kosovo Vyosa Osmani.
Minister Guler met with the Minister of Defense Euup Macedonji, Prime Minister Albin Kurti and the commander of the NATO peacekeeping forces in Kosovo (KFOR) Major General Okon Ulutash.
At the end of the meeting, Guler was adopted by the President of Osmani.
The statement of the Presidium of Kosovo reports that Osmani congratulated Guller on the appointment and thanked Turkey, especially President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, for the constant support of Kosovo.
“During the meeting with Minister Guller, the issues of cooperation in the field of defense were discussed, with a special accent on the preparation of security forces Kosovo (FSK) and activating the exchange of information in order to develop cooperation in the field of security,” the statement of the Presidium of Kosovo said. Osmani informed Guller about the current situation in the field of security in Kosovo and the conflict that occurred in the north of the country on September 24th.
Minister Guler confirmed his invariable support of Kosovo and expressed gratitude for the solidarity and help shown by Kosovo after destructive earthquakes in Turkey.
