Yerevan refutes: Aliyev and Pashinian meeting is not planned

On the eve of the Armenian resource, Aliq Media, with reference to “reliable diplomatic sources”, reported on the upcoming new peace agreement, which allegedly sign on November 9 in Moscow President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. The report indicated that, through the mediation of Russian President Vladimir Putin Aliyev and Pashinyan sign two documents. About a possible meeting of leaders in Moscow wrote and RIA Novosti with reference to its sources. It was noted that the trilateral meeting of Russian leaders, Azerbaijan and Armenia can take place in Moscow in the first decade of November. According to the publication, according to the results of the negotiations, the trilateral statements are expected. At the request of the agency on this issue, the press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov said that if an agreement on the holding of the Summit of the Russian Federation – Azerbaijan – Armenia will be achieved, the Kremlin will report this in a timely manner.

In the Armenian Foreign Ministry decided to comment on the information spread in the media in the manner peculiar to them. Press Secretary of the Office Vaan Unanyan said that at the moment, no meeting of the premiere of Armenia with the President of Azerbaijan is not planned. According to him, there are proposals for meetings in different formats, they are now discussed.

According to the AliQ Media version, the sides will sign two documents: “The first document concerns the delimitation and demarcation of the state border between Armenia and Azerbaijan, in accordance with which Yerevan and Baku recognize the borders and territorial integrity of each other, based on the maps of the General Staff of the USSR Ministry of Defense 1920 For years. ” The second document concerns unlocking communications in the region, in particular the details of the creation of road corridors, including the establishment of a message between Azerbaijan and Nakhichevan.

Unanyan notes that conversations on this topic and “information common in certain circles” are provocative and do not correspond to reality.

The representative of the Foreign Ministry stressed that in the matter of delimitation and demarcation, as well as the opening of regional communications, their readiness to provide advisory assistance expressed the other two OSCE MG – USA and France co-chairs, as well as the European Union.
