Yerevan: Ter-Petrosyan’s statement on Pashinyan’s resignation was declared “meaningless”

Armenian Minister of Justice Rustam Badasyan called the proposal of ex-President of Armenia Levon Ter-Petrosyan on the “immediate resignation” of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan “empty”.

“Society is already tired of mutual accusations and similar statements – a traitor is not a traitor, asylum, security problems, etc. I believe that everyone should concentrate and think about their rating, and such empty proposals do not at all contribute to an increase political rating, “Badasyan said in an interview with reporters, commenting on yesterday’s statement by Ter-Petrosyan, Armenian News reports.

“The results of the latest research conducted by IRI are quite clear about who has a political rating, who may have what expectations during early elections. I believe that these are statements of a political nature, their meaningful discussion is excluded, this is not serious”, – said the Armenian minister.

When asked why, then, the prime minister is accompanied by a huge number of guards, Badasyan said that the state is able to ensure the safety and security of the prime minister, there is no need to look for sensations.
