Zakharova: EU wants to wedge into process of agreements between Azerbaijan, Armenia and Russia

“Moscow sees the European Union’s stubborn attempts to wedge into the process of tripartite agreements at the highest level of Azerbaijan, Armenia and Russia.” This was stated by the official representative of the Foreign Ministry of Russia Maria Zakharova.

“Yes, we see the EU stubborn attempts to wedge into the process of trilateral agreements at the highest level, we expect that Brussels will help to implement them, if he wants to, and not conduct geopolitical games, but we don’t want this already,” – She noted.

Zakharova noted that the strategic goal of Russia is to turn the South Caucasus into a zone of stability and prosperity.

“One of the key tasks on this path is a comprehensive normalization of Baku and Yerevan to establish a durable world. The basis of efforts in this direction is tripartite the leaders’ agreements, which we have repeatedly talked about and which are consistently performed. Russia provides assistance to both stages at all stages , including unlocking transport communications, division of the border, establishing public relations and developing a peace treaty, ”said Zakharova.
