The Russian side carefully considers the information contained in the note of Uzbekistan. The diplomat noted that the Russian Federation carefully considers the information contained in the note of Uzbekistan.

“I note that we have direct channels of communication through law enforcement and other services. As usual between the allies, the conversation is frank and any signal is carefully considered. The mentioned appeal of the Uzbek side is brought to competent authorities,” Zakharova said.

“The received objective information will be transferred to partners in the prescribed manner,” concluded the diplomat.

Uzbekistan sent a note to the Russian Foreign Ministry

The Embassy of Uzbekistan sent a note to the Russian Foreign Ministry in connection with the recent situation in Moscow during the raid of Russian law enforcement agencies in a hostel for labor migrants.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Uzbek side “noted that reports of unauthorized checks, disrespectful and rude treatment of Uzbekistan citizens in some cases are concerned in the Russian Federation.”

“We drew attention to the fact that such cases are absolutely incompatible with friendly relations between our countries and that specific measures are needed to prevent them,” the report said.

“The Republic of Uzbekistan considers its priority task to protect the rights and interests of its citizens living and temporarily located abroad,” the Foreign Ministry emphasized.

The department also said that the Embassy of Uzbekistan sent a note to the Russian Foreign Ministry on the situation in Moscow with a request to comment on it and give a legal assessment of the actions of representatives of the power department.

The note emphasizes that the situation has shown a clear violation of human rights, which is unacceptable.

“Foreign Ministry of the Republic of Uzbekistan holds this issue at constant control and will continue to take additional measures if necessary,” follows from the message.
