Zakir Hasanov discussed with generals situation in Karabakh and on border with Armenia

On Monday, March 28, in the Central Command Point under the leadership of the Minister of Defense of Azerbaijan, a service meeting was held under the leadership of Azerbaijani General-Colonel General Zakira Gasanov. This Haqqin.Az reported in the press service of the department.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Ministers, commander of the types of troops, chiefs of major administrations, departments and ministry services. Commanders of military units, compounds deployed on liberated territories, and other officers joined the meeting by video link.

Defense Minister brought to the participants of the meeting of the task set by President of Azerbaijan, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief Armed Forces Ilham Aliyev in front of the Azerbaijani army. Zakir Hasanov also noted a high assessment of the supreme commander-in-chief of the combat and moral and psychological preparation of the personnel of the Azerbaijani army.

At the meeting, a detailed analysis of the situation in the Azerbaijani-Armenian state border and the operational situation in the Karabakh economic zone of Azerbaijan was carried out. Defense Minister gave specific instructions to officials to maintain at a high level of combat readiness of the military units of the Azerbaijani army, constant improvement of service and combat activities, raising vigilance.

Defense Minister gave an indication of the conduct of intensive teachings and practical exercises in the conditions close to combat, in order to further increase the combat capability of divisions, as well as on the constant readiness of military units to the exact and timely fulfillment of combat missions.

Zakir Gasanov gave instructions to the commanders and heads to ensure the readiness of the personnel for the application of newly adopted modern weapons, technicians and other combat.

The Minister instructed the appropriate officials to pay special attention to the logistical and engineering support of units carrying combat duty in the conditions of high mountains and harsh climate, including health promotion and an increase in the moral and psychological readiness of personnel.
