Defense Minister brought to the attention of the participants in the meeting of the task set by President Ilham Aliyev before the Azerbaijani Army.
Analyzing the situation in the Azerbaijan-Armenian state border and in the territories of Azerbaijan, where the Russian peacekeeping contingent is temporarily located, the head of the defense department gave orders to immediate adequate response to possible provocations against Azerbaijani units.
We positively appreciate the teachings and preparatory courses held in the troops and preparatory courses, the minister gave relevant instructions on the further increase in the combat capability of the divisions, the improvement of the knowledge and skills of the command formulation, to study the possibilities of weapons adopted and techniques, as well as to conduct exercises in the night and daytime accordance with real combat conditions.
In accordance with the instructions of President Ilham Aliyev, Zakir Hasanov instructed to speed up the use of the Turkish Sun model in the Azerbaijani army, including in the field of military education.
The importance of improving the material and technical and medical support of units, the conditions of personnel service, as well as timely provision of warns with warm clothing and nutrition.
The Minister also noted the importance of compliance with the rules of security, the organization of the service of troops in military units stationed on the liberated territories, cleaning territories from mines and unexploded ammunition, improving military infrastructure and continuous maintenance in working conditions of roads in mountainous areas.
Zakir Hasanov gave specific instructions on the systematic management of educational work, to further strengthen the ideological work and maintaining the moral and psychological state of troops for their constant readiness to perform combat missions.
